Soft start dump valves allow downstream pressure to gradually increase on initial start up before fully opening to deliver line pressure. The dump function allows the system to be exhausted quickly when required. Solenoid, air piloted and manually operated options are available, as well as some versions which include a monitoring function that can be used to help in satisfying machinery directive requirements for safeguarding of machines and operators.
